Information for New Patients​

Thank you for booking your first appointment with me. I am delighted to welcome you to my Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine practice. Below are details that you will need to know for your appointment.

Important: My Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Clinic is a private home-based clinic and located on the main level.

If using Google Maps or GPS to find the clinic, make sure to enter the city, “North Vancouver“.

How to Get HEre:

By Car:
The Clinic is located right on Dollarton Hwy near Cates Park in North Vancouver (1/2 block from Nesters Market). It is only 7 minutes drive from Hwy #1, and 10-15 minutes to Burnaby and East Vancouver over the second Narrows Bridge.

By Transit:
If you take transit, the bus stop is 1 minute walk from my clinic if you take the 211, 212 or 232. For specific directions, please feel free to contact me directly.

Parking

For your added convenience, a dedicated and private patient parking area is provided in the driveway of the clinic.

Upon Arrival

Upon arrival, I ask that you wait outside the front entrance until I greet you and escort you into the clinic. 

Visitors

In order to maximize social distancing, as a temporary measure, family members and visitors are discouraged from joining you at your appointment.

Masks

I will be wearing a medical mask throughout the entire duration of your visit in order to respect your comfort level. 

Masks are optional for patients.

Covid Survey

You will receive a COVID-19 survey 4 hours prior to your appointment by email. 

Please take a moment to answer the questions online in order to ensure maximum safety. 

If you answer yes to having any of the symptoms entailed in the survey, please email me and reschedule your appointment for such time that you are feeling well. Don’t worry, there will be no cancellation charge.

Cancellations

Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointments. If you fail to give sufficient notice, a cancellation charge may apply. 

If you are running late to your appointment, please notify me. I try to ensure that my appointments are always running smoothly and on-time. 

Arriving late to your appointment may mean that you get less time for your treatment. If you are running more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule and a cancellation fee will be charged.

Payments & Insurance Coverage

After your appointment, you can pay by way of contactless payment (credit card or email transfer) and you can submit your receipt to your insurance provider for reimbursement. I do not do direct billing at this time. Please contact your insurance provider for details on your coverage.
